Accident & Event Reconstruction Video
Accident and traffic crash reconstruction is the process of investigating, analyzing, and drawing conclusions about the causes and events during a vehicle collision. Professional reconstructionists conduct collision analysis and reconstruction to identify the cause of a collision and contributing factors including the role of the drivers, vehicles, roadway and general environment. Accident reconstruction is sometimes used as the basis of expert witness testimony at trials and is typically performed in cases involving fatalities or personal injury. Our professional videographers record every moment of the reconstruction and edit the video into a comprehensive trial-ready video to show what really happened in the traffic crash.
Archiving Media
Video archiving refers to managing and preserving files that are no longer being used but still have value to the firm or the client. For example, this could include content from last year’s ad campaign, or footage from a past event or performance that has historical value but does not need to remain with the active video files. It can be Day-In-The-Life videos, accident reconstruction, depositions, previously captured exhibits, or any one of a dozen different types of legal documents that need to be kept safe and secure. An effective video archiving system secures and organizes these files so they are safe, searchable, and easy to access.
Board Meetings
The purpose of the board meeting is to get a pulse on the entity and to do a check-in on the health and profitability of the company or non-profit. The agenda forms the basis for getting valuable information, addressing important matters and making decisions. When such important and potentially life-changing decisions are being made, having a visual and audio record could be very important not just for shareholders but also for reviewing at a later date.
City & Zoning Meetings
A Planning and Zoning Commission is a local elected or appointed government board charged with recommending to the local town or city council the boundaries of the various original zoning districts and appropriate regulations to be enforced therein and any proposed amendments thereto. The commission comes together at various times for meetings that often arrive at very important and sometimes controversial decisions. Having these meetings recorded ensures accurate representation of the decisions and outcomes.
Commercial Property Inventory Videos
Commercial property inventory videos are excellent for showcasing existing buildings. They are a great way to highlight building exteriors, on-site and nearby amenities and to show any existing tenant spaces and common areas. They are generally a good sales tool to have for any project, but can be especially useful for properties that have recently been renovated or that people in the market haven’t had the chance to tour yet. Commercial property videos can also be a helpful sales tool for buildings that are far out or difficult to get to since they allow the audience to experience the property without ever leaving their desk.
Construction Documentary
Documenting the steps from start to finish on building construction is an important part of ensuring that it is all done correctly and to code. It's also the only way to ensure that if anything should go wrong in the stages of construction or after the building is completed, that any questions can be asnwered with the video and audio documentation of the building's construction. Our Videographers can record and edit all video of the construction from beginning to end into a comprehensive video suitable for litigation if there is ever a need.
Corporate Events
A corporate event is any form of event, hospitality or social activity which is organised or funded by a business entity. With such a broad definition, the target audience for corporate events can be equally as broad, including but not limited to: Employees. Board members. Stakeholders. Recorded videos of these events can be incredibly important and popular for large and small businesses, both to record important or sensitive messages shared at these events, or for marketing purposes, motivational purposes, or future corporate events.
Day-In-The-Life Videos
A day in the life video for personal injury cases at trial documents in part the plaintiff’s daily activities from the moment they rise to the moment they go to bed. Whether the plaintiff is managing life on their own, has a caretaker, or is living in a care facility, a day in the life video can effectively communicate what the client’s life is like as they struggle with completely ordinary daily tasks with a permanent personal injury. Day in the life videos can also be used for mediation, or settlement. They can also be produced to present plaintiff’s heartfelt, non-deposition on-camera testimony where family members, friends, or nurse practitioner provide a deeper insight of the way a plantiff's life has changed. Life before injury photos, as well as music, and general damages’ charts and graphs could also be incorporated to accentuate the plaintiff’s overall damages. Should the case not settle, the original day in the life video footage can easily be re-edited for admissibility at trial.
Depositions
Videotaping a deposition allows a jury to see what the person is like, their tone, any nervous habits, moments of pause, idiosyncrasies of the witness, and facial expressions. All of these go directly to the witness's credibility. This is one reason it is imperative to videotape all depositions.
Equipment Rental
Equipment rental for video playback in trial, for mediations, depositions, and for a jury is available through United Video. Our professional and dedicated videographers and technical specialists set up the equipment prior to the engagement, then operate it throughout the rental. The equipment can be rented by the hour or by the day.
Exhibit Capture
Exhibit capture is the recording of exhibits on a DVD, CD, or digital format for use at a later time, whether in a deposition, mediation, settlement, or trial in front of a judge and/or jury. It is an interactive and consice way to display exhibits. Exhibit capture also references the recording of physical exhibits during a deposition, settlement or trial. While recording the statements of a deponent, if exhibits are presented, the videographer can record the exhibit during the recording of the deponent, to capture both the exhibit and the reaction and answer of the deponent.
Independent Medical Examinations
An Independent Medical Exam is often to do with a workers' compensation case and is an examination scheduled by the workers’ compensation insurance carrier with the doctor of their choice. It is recorded by a videographer for later use in depositions, mediations, or even trials for a judge or jury to review.
Job Interviews
A job interview is an interview consisting of a conversation between a job applicant and a representative of an employer which is conducted to assess whether the applicant should be hired. Interviews are one of the most popularly used devices for employee selection. Interviews vary in the extent to which the questions are structured, from a totally unstructured and free-wheeling conversation, to a structured interview in which an applicant is asked a predetermined list of questions in a specified order; structured interviews are usually more accurate predictors of which applicants will make suitable employees, according to research studies.
Mediations
Mediation is a structured, interactive process where an impartial third party assists disputing parties in resolving conflict through the use of specialized communication and negotiation techniques. All participants in mediation are encouraged to actively participate in the process. Mediation is a "party-centered" process in that it is focused primarily upon the needs, rights, and interests of the parties. The mediator uses a wide variety of techniques to guide the process in a constructive direction and to help the parties find their optimal solution. Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution resolving disputes between two or more parties with concrete effects. Typically, a third party, the mediator, assists the parties to negotiate a settlement. Disputants may mediate disputes in a variety of domains, such as commercial, legal, diplomatic, workplace, community, and family matters.
Mock Trials & Depositions
A mock trial is an act or imitation trial. It is similar to a moot court, but mock trials simulate lower-court trials, while moot court simulates appellate court hearings. Attorneys preparing for a real trial might use a mock trial consisting of volunteers as role players to test theories or experiment with each other. Mock trial is also the name of an extracurricular program in which students participate in rehearsed trials to learn about the legal system in a competitive manner. Interscholastic mock trials take place on all levels including primary school, middle school, high school, college, and law school. Mock trial is often taught in conjunction with a course in trial advocacy or takes place as an after school enrichment activity. Some gifted and talented programs may also take place in one.
Personal Property Inventory Videos
A personal property inventory is a complete list of all your household and personal belongings. A complete inventory list should include the following information about each item on your inventory list, to ensure total coverage following a loss:
No one is ever fully prepared for a loss, but with proper preparation, you can reduce the stress in the aftermath. Having a personal property inventory in place before a claim is filed with the insurance company ensures that your claim is filed promptly and completely, which speeds up the process and the time in which you can get your life back to normal.
- The room in the home where the item is located
- Full item description and quantity
- Purchase date (or approximate purchase date)
- Place of purchase, including store name and location
- Original cost of the item
- Estimated current value, if known
- Serial, service and model numbers
- A DVD and/or digital copy of each individual item
- Receipts and current appraisals for the most valuable items, both recorded on the video and kept for physical assessment at a later date

Post-Production Technical Support
For video conferencing, Post-Production Support means the Monitoring and management of the video conference after it has begun. Most companies only connect their clients to the video conference and then leave them on their own after that. Post-Production support for video conferencing includes technicians staying on the call and assisting with exhibits, screen sharing, videography, and any issues that may arrise.
For videography, Post-Production Support means the technician and/or videographer offers editing support or support with playback of the video for clients.
Pre-Marital / Post-Marital Agreements
A Premarital Agreement, sometimes called a Prenuptial Agreement, is a set of rules created by an engaged couple to govern their financial lives during their marriage and to determine what will happen in terms of property division and spousal support if they should divorce.
A Postmarital Agreement, sometimes called a Postnuptial Agreement, is a set of rules created by a couple during their marriage for much the same reasons that an engaged couple creates a premarital agreement: to govern their financial lives during their marriage and to determine what will happen in terms of property division and spousal support if they should divorce.
Real Estate Transactions
A real estate transaction can be a perplexing process no matter if it’s large or small. While there are many legal and financial aspects that revolve around the purchase and sale of real estate, the closing of a real estate transaction should not be an adversarial process. No useful reason exists to think of or treat a closing like litigation although it does happen. Having a documented, visual record of the process from start to finish by a licensed videographer protects against future litigation should the transaction make a bad turn.
Settlement Videos
A Settlement Video is a video created for the purpose of inducing settlement in civil litigation. Typically, they are used for personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, or class action suits. Settlement videos are highly effective at conveying the extent of an injury, disfigurement, rehabilitation period, financial loss, and other relevant evidence in a multimedia format.
Site Inspections
Site inspections are a set of regular activities to check and verify the on-field compliance including Safety Standards, working conditions, and other critical areas of work site. Site inspection is being conducted and carried out using traditional methods of field visits with pen and paper checklist. Having a videographer there to record the entire process from start to finish ensures accuracy and accountability.
Sync To Transcript
Sync To Transcript is the seamless connection of the deposition transcript text with the audio/video portion of the deposition. Time stamped transcripts are synchronized and put on a DVD, CD or other digital format. Using a “Video Synched” transcript in trial will captivate the judge and jury in a way that is impossible with a printed transcript. Along with this, multiple search tools make finding key testimony easy.
Transcoding
Transcoding is the direct digital-to-digital conversion of one encoding to another, such as for movie data files, audio files (e.g., MP3, WAV), or character encoding (e.g., UTF-8, ISO/IEC 8859). This is usually done in cases where a target device (or workflow) does not support the format or has limited storage capacity that mandates a reduced file size, or to convert incompatible or obsolete data to a better-supported or modern format.
Training Videos
A training video, whether an employee training video or customer training, is a video dedicated to educating viewers on a specific topic with the goal of teaching a skill or knowledge. Simply put, it's video-based content that shows someone how to do something.
Trial Video Playback
Trial Video Playback is where evidence and depositions can be collected and played back during a trial for the jury, to better illustrate the testimony of a deponent. Videos are much more descriptive and lend more understanding to the case than the paper pages of a transcript. Videos engage a jury in a way that a transcript or paper evidence never could. Our professional videographers provide, set up and run all equipment necessary.
Vehicle Inspections
Vehicle inspection is a procedure mandated by national or subnational governments in many countries, in which a vehicle is inspected to ensure that it conforms to regulations governing safety, emissions, or both. Inspection can be required at various times, e.g., periodically or on the transfer of title to a vehicle. If required periodically, it is often termed periodic motor vehicle inspection; typical intervals are every two years and every year. Recording the vehicle inspection can protect the owner against future litigation should something be found to be lacking on the vehicle at a later date.
Video Conferencing
Video conferencing is a technology that allows users in different locations to hold face-to-face meetings without having to move to a single location together. It uses the internet to connect and one of many platforms now available, such as Zoom. This technology is particularly convenient for businesses and legal practitioners, as users in different cities or even different countries can connect while saving time, expenses, and hassles associated with travel. Uses for video conferencing include holding routine meetings, depositions, mediations, trials, negotiating business deals, and interviewing job candidates.
Video Editing
Video editing is the manipulation and arrangement of video shots. Video editing is used to structure and present all video information, including films and television shows, video advertisements and video essays. Video editing has been dramatically democratized in recent years by editing software available for personal computers. Editing video can be difficult and tedious, so several technologies have been produced to aid people in this task. Pen based video editing software was developed in order to give people a more intuitive and fast way to edit video.
Wills
A will or testament is a legal document that expresses a person's wishes as to how their property (estate) is to be distributed after their death and as to which person is to manage the property until its final distribution. For the distribution of property not determined by a will, see inheritance and intestacy.
Though it has at times been thought that a "will" historically applied only to real property while "testament" applied only to personal property (thus giving rise to the popular title of the document as "last will and testament"), the historical records show that the terms have been used interchangeably. Thus, the word "will" validly applies to both personal and real property. A will may also create a testamentary trust that is effective only after the death of the testator.
